Resolved - After closely monitoring the issue with existing customers and new incidents, we can confirm that the latest patches from Microsoft resolved the issue that was introduced.

Monitoring - The current solution to this issue is to install "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.439.210.0)".

This has solved current running incidents, but we are narrowly monitoring this with our customers to make sure all issues are resolved.

Investigating - With the October 14 update of Windows 11, Studio Pro 9, 10, and 11 can show errors in different panels and editors making it unusable.

When you see the message "Hmmm... can't reach this page" with an error code of `ERR_CONNECTION_RESET`, in a tool panel or editor, your workstation is likely affected. Example panels where it can occur are the design properties and toolbox. Example editors are the Microflow, Nanoflow and Rule editor.

The current known workarounds for this problem are:
- Install "Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - KB2267602 (Version 1.439.210.0)"
or
- Uninstall the following Windows updates: KB5066835, KB5066131, and KB5065789

We are actively investigating this issue and will update regularly.

Update - Our Infrastructure provider (AWS) for Mendix Cloud, has announced that the underlying issue has been fully mitigated. We are continuing to monitor Mendix services. Backups, Logs, Metrics and Alerts are now operational. There is a loss of logs and application metrics during the outage window which is not recoverable. Impact on Mendix apps

The maintenance will be executed only for the Mendix application deployed to the Kubernetes infrastructure. To find the Mendix application infrastructure, go to Apps and check the Infrastructure label on your environment. The label will contain either Cloud Foundry or Kubernetes.
During the maintenance, the Runtime Engines (application instances) of your Mendix applications will be restarted and redeployed to the same application infrastructure. This is executed automatically in no specific order. To ensure continuous availability for all customer applications, the underlying infrastructure upgrades will be performed in a rolling fashion. This means the rolling upgrade process ensures no downtime for both multi-instance applications (by restarting only one Runtime Engine at a time) and single-instance applications.
While the rolling nature of these upgrades is designed to minimize impact, a small number of users might experience brief, intermittent networking disruptions or 502 errors as underlying services are rotated. These are typically temporary and self-correcting.

This is executed automatically in no specific order. Unavailability for single instance apps will be minimized to a couple of seconds. During the maintenance our platform will be restarted in a rolling fashion which might lead to termination of certain user sessions which will be automatically recreated.
